I have short hair!!!!

I decided to donate my hair. So after growing it out, I cut off over 9 inches of hair tonight. I am still getting used to it but my head feels so much lighter.

Halloween

We spent Halloween at Grandma's and Grandpa's house. Josh had a football game and did not get to be in on the excitement. We had a lot of fun and got a lot of candy. I even carved my first pumpkins, I was so proud of myself. I think I scared my mom, Carter, and myself; I am not that good with a knife and almost cut myself.

Just for Fun

This was my attempt to get us all in a picture together. Josh does a much better job of this, I think it is because he has such long arms.

Carter always knows when to smile for the picture.

Cooper is a cuddly boy, he makes ya feel so good, every time you pick him up he gives you a hug like he hasn't seen you in days.

Cooper and Blocks

Carter and Cooper's babysitter has told me more than once that she apologizes for Cooper's shirt being stretched, but he keeps putting blocks, cars, and all kinds of toys down his shirt and she has to pull them out, or finds them when she is changing his bum. I had never seen him do this. We were playing with blocks one night and Cooper put all of these blocks down his shirt himself just as fast as he could. He is so silly. Oh and then when he had had his fun, he wanted me to take all of the blocks out for him because he could not take them out fast enough. Carter and I got a pretty good laugh. The hole time Josh was trying to take a nap, so much for that.

We had a B-Day party for Carter and Lisa took a few pictures for us. We have a lot of pictures but usually not with all of us. Thanks Lisa.

Even though cooper is mad, I thought this was cute. It just shows that his days of sitting still are over. He would rather be up and running around.

Carter is 4 !!!!

Carter is so excited that he is 4 now. He tells everyone that he sees that he is four and he is getting big like his dad. He will do something, for example change the tv to his cartoons and he will say I did it I am getting big, I am 4. He cracks me up.

Carter loves to run around the house and be iron man now, he tries to save everyone.

Carter decided to put all of his new birthday clothes that grandma gave him on at the same time, he also is showing off his transformer.

He wanted a bubble gum machine cake, it was funny to hear him say it because he would say it so fast you weren't sure what he was saying. He was upset at first because I used m & m's instead of bubble gum balls, I thought it was a much better choice.

Fun Pictures

The boys love it when I get the camera out. Carter likes to show off and be in every picture, or take the pictures (he is very good at taking pictures). Cooper just wants to have the camera and so he gets mad because I am trying to take pictures of him and will not give it to him. Cooper loves anything electronic. (remotes, computers, phones, radios)

A Long Time Since I Posted

I can't believe that 2 months have gone by. We have been having fun and working hard. I have started working part time and so I get to spend a lot more time at home with the boys, we have been having lots of fun together. Josh has started student teaching and coaching football. We don't get to see much of him lately but I am so proud of him. He is almost done with school!!! I am so excited.

These pictures are kinda old, but I just found my camera. It has been in my car for quite some time. I will get new pictures posted soon.

Championship Game

New Pictures

Oops

I got home from work today and Josh's buddy had pulled up right before me. I walked in and asked who's car was out front. Carter replied, "the policeman?" Now I need to back track a little.

--We were outside one day and heard police car sirens. Carter was only outside in his underwear, I joking around said oh no Carter the policeman is coming to get you. He ran so fast into the house to put clothes on. Ever since he is always afraid that the policeman is going to come and get him. --

So I not thinking much of it just brushed his comment off.

Josh than proceeded to tell me that while he was taking a shower Cooper, who loves to play with phones, dialed 9-1-1. Shortly after the call Cooper made, Carter saw a policeman out the window. Him being scared of policeman already got scared and ran to his bedroom and shut the door. The policeman than knocked on the door, Josh answered it and asked what he could help them with. The one policeman said that they were responding to a dropped 9-1-1 call. Josh informed them that his one-year old must of done it. They asked to come in and take a look around. Josh said ok and apologized for the call. The one officer said it was ok, and the other said "well you can make it up to us by letting us take your little girl." Josh said, no thanks and he is not a girl he is a boy.

As Josh was telling me what happened Cooper had a look of guilt on his face.

Flu be Gone

We have had the worst stomach flu at our house. Last Sunday Cooper woke up in the middle of the night throwing up (it always seems to be when you should be sleeping), then Carter and I got the same thing Tuesday night, the worst of it only lasted 12 hours but it was not fun. Carter and I were fine 24 hours later but poor Cooper was not. Saturday was the first day Cooper finally started acting like himself. For a whole week he would just sit on your lap all day and cuddle into you, he did not want to move, this is not like him.

This weekend was a good break. Monday it rained all day so we were not able to go outside so we went bowling. This was Carter's first time bowling. I was so bummed that I forgot my camera, he was hilarious. On Carter's first turn Josh had him carry the bowling ball up to the lane and put it down on the floor. Carter did, Josh told him to push the ball, he did. He didn't seem to think that he had pushed it hard enough because he went chasing after it down the bowling lane, we were yelling for him to stop and so he turned to look at us and fell on his butt. He stood up and rubbed his butt, it was quite the fall. Then every time it was his turn he would roll the ball and then he would turn around and do the yes dance before his ball even got to the pins.

Cooper's 1st B-Day

Cooper had his first birthday. Can you believe that he is already one. Wow. He didn't care to much about the candle he starting licking the frosting right away. He was really careful at first, he just wanted to lick the frosting. He started to really dive in when Josh helped a little and showed him that he could get cake too.

When I get home from work, Cooper is usually asleep somewhere in the house.

Josh thought it would be fun to put him a pillowcase,
"sleeping bag" as Josh called it.

Josh heard cooper playing in his bedroom, and when the noises stopped he went to check on him. He almost stepped on him, he was asleep the doorway asleep.

Again Cooper was just playing and decided he wanted to go to sleep.

Notice how you can see what he was doing up until the minute he falls asleep.

Cooper doesn't do much sitting he would rather be crawling, I did get him to sit longer enough to get this picture.

Notice his hair, it is growing back.

Carter was waiting for me to come home from work so we could go to the store. He got tired and fell asleep.
