I am getting closer to due time. Everyone is starting to ask if I am carrying twins, and I get dirty looks in the grocery store. I guess that means that it is time to have this baby. Due date is May 15th.
Josh has had the stomach flu for the past three days. The first day he was sick he called me at work and said I am sorry but the house is going to be a mess when you get home. He said that he was soo sick he could not move and he did not know what Carter was up too. Two hours later when I got home the house was not too bad until I walked into the kitchen. Carter had found my Jell-O that I keep in the bulk bags and had dumped it all over my stove. I proceeded into the bedroom to find Josh and Carter. He had put one of Josh's dress socks on, he is holding a bag of Kix's, and we are still finding Kix's in and around our bed.

Mom, I'm not a little girl! 
Almost ready to walk out of door on my way to work I walked in the bathroom to check my hair in the mirror. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Carter grab something off of the counter. I thought to myself just let him play with it he can not do much damage. When ready to leave the bathroom I looked down to see that Carter had unscrewed my masscara. He had a streak of masscara starting at the bottom of his chin and up into his eye. I grabbed a wash cloth and scrubbed trying to get it off. I succeeded for the most part, but he had got some right underneath his eye that I could not get off. So I had to take him to day care looking like he had a black eye. I didn't get a picture this time because we were in a hurry and did not have the chance. A few days later Josh called me at work to tell me that Carter had got into my masscara again. It was much worse this time and Josh did get a picture. When I got home both Carter and Josh's clothes were covered in black. Carter was clean but Josh's arm were still black streaked from cleaning Carter up.
We were driving in the car and Josh rolled the windows down. This picture is Carter's reaction. He said, "Oooh" and then started laughing.
We had new neighbors move in next to us a couple of months ago, they have three girls. They have a fence that runs all the way around their yard and so when we are outside Carter will go to the fence and talk to them but he has never played in their yard. Today they asked if he could come and play. They sure do grow up fast! He had so much fun that when we went to get him he did not want to leave. Their youngest girl is almost three and Carter is in nursery with her. This is the same girl that I saw walk up to him in church and gave him a big kiss. He ran away from that one fast. Needless to say she didn't get the chance to give him another one. We'll have to watch these play times with the neighbors very closely :)
Carter found this helmut while he was shopping with Josh at their favorite store. He enjoys putting it on his head, and actually keeps it there, unlike the other hats we try to get him to wear.
After we finished swimming Josh and I wrapped towls around us to go inside. Carter insisted that he have one wrapped around him too. Carter ran around the house for quite awhile before he was ready to be done with the towl.
Carter is showing his dad that he is a big boy as he holds the hose in the pool. Carter did not realize that we had already turned the water off.
On the 4th of July it was so hot we filled up Carter's little pool and we all played in the water. The water was soo... cold that Carter would not sit or lay in the pool but he sure had fun standing in it.
